Mary Quimby, CCS, PCS, FCS, has over 38 years experience in healthcare settings. She offers HMI clients a full range of services associated with the improvement of the reporting, billing, and subsequent reimbursement for hospital outpatient services. She assists HMI clients in APC management, ASC/ER record reviews, and in-servicing staff on coding methodologies. She also conducts full updating of the hospital’s charge description master, assists in implementation of chargemaster updates and is responsible for federal chargemaster coding issues. She performs comprehensive reviews of each department’s chargemaster to offer improvements in coding and present solutions in areas of non-compliance. In addition, she is a California licensed pharmacy technician by training for 38 years. She served for six years as the CDM Coordinator for Scripps Health in San Diego. She was also an EMT-A Emergency Medical Technician-Ambulance for two years in the state of California.
